Grading System
We grade each item carefully based on its condition. Vinyl, cassette, and CD are evaluated
separately because each format has its own characteristics.
🎵 Vinyl Records Condition
Mint (M)
Perfect condition. Never played or completely like new with no visible marks or sound defects. Cover is flawless.
Near Mint (NM)
Almost perfect. Very light signs of use, but no impact on sound quality. Cover may have minimal shelf wear.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
Light surface marks may be present. Minor background noise possible but playback remains excellent. Cover may show light ring wear or edge wear.
Very Good (VG)
Noticeable surface wear and some noise (pops or crackle), but still fully playable. Cover shows visible wear, folds, or small damage.
Good (G)
Heavy wear with strong surface noise. Still playable but with reduced audio quality. Cover is significantly worn or damaged.
Poor (P)
Major scratches or defects affecting playback. Cover is heavily damaged or incomplete.
📼 Cassette Tapes Condition
Mint (M)
Unused or like-new cassette with perfect sound quality. Case and inlay are flawless.
Near Mint (NM)
Very clean tape with minimal signs of use. Sound is clear and stable. Case may have light wear.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
Light usage signs such as slight hiss or very minor wear. Fully enjoyable playback. J-card may show light aging.
Very Good (VG)
Noticeable wear, possible background noise or slight degradation in sound. Case and inlay show visible wear.
Good (G)
Heavy use, audible hiss or distortion possible. Still plays but with reduced quality. Packaging is worn or damaged.
Poor (P)
Severe tape wear, playback issues, or damaged case/inlay.
💿 CD Condition
Mint (M)
Perfect condition. CD has never been played or is like new. Case and booklet are flawless.
Near Mint (NM)
Very light signs of handling. CD plays perfectly with no issues. Case may have minimal marks.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
Minor surface marks that do not affect playback. Booklet or case may show slight wear.
Very Good (VG)
Visible scratches but CD still plays without skipping. Case and booklet show clear signs of use.
Good (G)
Heavy scratches with possible playback issues. Case or booklet is significantly worn.
Poor (P)
Major damage or unreadable disc. Case and booklet may be missing or heavily damaged.
